Erbil (Kurdistan24) – The Ministry of Interior announced this evening that a series of separate security incidents occurred in Baghdad at 11:00 PM, resulting from rocket fire and airstrikes targeting both the Karkh and Rusafa districts, causing casualties and material damage.

Karkh District:

The statement reported that the Sheikh Amer checkpoint in the Taji/Sabaa al-Bour area was targeted by an airstrike that struck a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) camp, injuring a captain and four other personnel who were near the target.

In the same area, an unexploded ordnance landed near the Imam al-Muntazar Husseiniya, prompting civil defense teams and explosives experts to respond.

In the Amiriya/al-Munathama Street area, a projectile struck a residential building, killing two civilians.

Rusafa District:

In Rusafa, a civilian vehicle caught fire in the Jamila area, while a residential building on Palestine Street/al-Nakhlah Intersection was targeted by an airstrike, resulting in partial roof damage but no casualties. A civilian vehicle caught fire on Al-Maghrib Street, and an unexploded ordnance landed near the internal departments on Palestine Street. Civil Defense teams responded to the incident.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that Civil Defense teams and security forces responded immediately to all incidents, extinguishing the fires, disposing of the unexploded ordnance, and securing the targeted locations.

The Ministry indicated that the relevant authorities have launched an urgent investigation to uncover the circumstances of these attacks and take the necessary legal measures.

The Ministry urged citizens to exercise caution and avoid approaching incident sites or suspicious objects, and to report any suspicious activity by calling the emergency number (911). It emphasized that its security forces are on full alert and will not allow any disruption of security and stability.

أربيل (كوردستان24)- أعلنت وزارة الداخلية، مساء اليوم، وقوع سلسلة حوادث أمنية متفرقة في العاصمة بغداد عند الساعة الحادية عشرة ليلاً، نتيجة سقوط صواريخ وتنفيذ ضربات جوية، طالت جانبي الكرخ والرصافة، وأسفرت عن خسائر بشرية ومادية.
جانب الكرخ:
أفاد البيان بأن سيطرة الشيخ عامر في منطقة التاجي/سبع البور تعرّضت لقصف جوي استهدف معسكراً تابعاً للحشد الشعبي، ما أدى إلى إصابة ضابط برتبة نقيب وأربعة منتسبين كانوا بالقرب من موقع الاستهداف.
وفي المنطقة ذاتها، سقط مقذوف غير منفلق قرب حسينية الإمام المنتظر، حيث سارعت فرق الدفاع المدني وخبراء المتفجرات إلى التعامل معه.
كما شهدت منطقة العامرية/شارع المنظمة سقوط مقذوف على منزل سكني، ما أسفر عن استشهاد مدنيين اثنين.
جانب الرصافة:
وفي جانب الرصافة، اندلع حريق في عجلة مدنية بمنطقة جميلة، فيما تعرض منزل سكني في شارع فلسطين/تقاطع النخلة لقصف جوي أدى إلى احتراق جزء من سطحه دون تسجيل خسائر بشرية.
كما تم تسجيل احتراق عجلة مدنية في شارع المغرب، وسقوط مقذوف غير منفلق قرب الأقسام الداخلية في شارع فلسطين، حيث باشرت فرق الدفاع المدني بمعالجة الحادث.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أن فرق الدفاع المدني والأجهزة الأمنية استجابت بشكل فوري لجميع الحوادث، وتمكنت من إخماد الحرائق ومعالجة الأجسام غير المنفلقة وتأمين المواقع المستهدفة.
وأشارت إلى أن الجهات المختصة باشرت بفتح تحقيق عاجل لكشف ملابسات هذه الهجمات واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
ودعت الوزارة المواطنين إلى توخي الحيطة والحذر، وعدم الاقتراب من مواقع الحوادث أو الأجسام المشبوهة، والإبلاغ عبر رقم الطوارئ (911) عن أي تحركات مريبة، مؤكدة أن قطعاتها الأمنية في حالة استنفار تام ولن تسمح بزعزعة الأمن والاستقرار.
