Gaza - Ma'an - A seven-year-old girl was killed Friday evening after being struck by shrapnel from a missile fired by an Israeli aircraft near her family's home in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip.

A local source said that the girl, Buthaina Mahmoud Obeid, from Jabalia, was killed after being hit in the head by shrapnel following a bombing that targeted the area around her family's home. She was taken to the Indonesian Hospital in the neighboring town of Beit Lahia.

غزة- معا- استشهدت طفلة (7 أعوام)، مساء اليوم الجمعة، عقب إصابتها بشظية صاروخ أطلقته طائرة إسرائيلية في نحيط منزل عائلتها في بلدة جباليا شمال قطاع غزة.

وقال مصدر محلي إن الطفلة بثينة محمود عبيد من بلدة جباليا استشهدت إثر إصابتها بشظية في الرأس بعد قصف تعرض له محيط منزل عائلتها، ونقلت إلى مستشفى الإندونيسي في بلدة بيت لاهيا المجاورة.
