Ramallah – Ma’an – A report issued by the Freedoms Committee of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate stated that since the beginning of the aggression against the Gaza Strip on 7/10/2023, nine Palestinian journalists have been killed by Israeli airstrikes.

The Freedoms Committee statement indicated that journalists in the Gaza Strip face numerous and serious dangers as a result of the Israeli bombardment, which has led to the deaths of nine colleagues.

The Committee for Freedoms issued a statement detailing the casualties and names of those killed since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip until Thursday evening:

Freelance journalist Salam Mima, whose fate remains uncertain after three days since her home was destroyed.

Serious and Bloody Injuries Among Journalists:

Due to the difficulty of movement and communication resulting from the heavy missile bombardment Given its intensity and widespread nature across the Gaza Strip, the number of injured journalists may be higher than the figures we have been able to document so far.

Approximately 20 injuries were recorded, the most severe occurring in the Gaza Strip. The first to report his injury was journalist Ibrahim Qannan.

Other injured journalists include Al-Ghad TV correspondent Ali Hamad, freelance photographer Ali Hamad, journalist Saleh Al-Masri from Palestine Today Agency, and photojournalist Mahmoud Al-Hams from Agence France-Presse.

Meanwhile, numerous Palestinian journalists were injured in the West Bank. Their crews were subjected to beatings, detention, prevention from covering events, and gunfire, totaling 45 incidents.

Eight shooting incidents were recorded, resulting in injuries to three colleagues.

Twenty cases of detention and obstruction of work were also recorded.

Seven physical assaults were documented.

Seven cases of confiscation and destruction of journalists' equipment were also recorded.

Approximately 50 media outlets and centers, as well as about 20 journalists' homes, were completely destroyed, and some were partially damaged, as a result of bombings. :

Several journalists have also been subjected to direct threats and incitement campaigns by Hebrew-language pages on social media platforms, as happened with journalist Muthanna al-Najjar from Gaza and journalist Muhammad Turkman in the West Bank. In addition, numerous Hebrew-language posts have been observed calling for the assassination of journalists and labeling them as saboteurs and terrorists.

رام الله- معا- أفاد تقرير صادر عن لجنة الحريات التابعة لنقابة الصحفيين الفلسطينيين بأنه ومنذ بداية العدوان على قطاع غزة بتاريخ 7/10/2023 تم رصد استشهاد 9 من الصحفيين الفلسطينيين بصواريخ طائرات الاحتلال الاسرائيلي.

وأشار بيان لجنة الحريات، إلى أن مخاطر عديدة وصعبة يعايشها الصحفيون في قطاع غزة نتيجة قصف الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الذي تسبب بارتقاء 9 من الزملاء.

إصابات خطيرة ودامية في صفوف الصحفيين:

بسبب صعوبة التحرك والتواصل الناتج عن غزارة القصف الصاروخي وكثافته وانتشاره بمواقع كثيرة بقطاع غزة فإن أعداد الصحفيين المصابين قد يكون أكثر من هذه الاحصائية التي استطعنا رصدها حتى اللحظة .

تم رصد حوالي 20 اصابة كانت الأعنف في قطاع غزة حيث كان اول من اعلن عن اصابته الصحفي ابراهيم قنن

مراسل قناة الغد والمصور الحر علي حمد والصحفي صالح المصري من وكالة فلسطين اليوم. و المصور الصحفي محمود الهمص مصور وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية.

فيما اصيب العديد من الصحفيين الفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية وتعرضت الطواقم للضرب والاحتجاز والمنع من التغطية واطلاق النار باتجاهها بواقع 45 حالة اعتداء.

وسجلت 8 حالات من إطلاق النار أصيب على إثرها 3 من الزملاء .

كما سجلت 20 حالة احتجاز ومنع الطواقم من العمل

و7 اعتداءات بالضرب

و7 حالات من مصادرة وتحطيم معدات للصحفيين

وبعض الانتهاكات الأخرى

تدمير حوالي 50 مقر ومركز لمؤسسات اعلامية وحوالي 20 منزل للصحفيين بشكل كامل والبعض بشكل جزئي نتيجة القصف مثل :

كما تعرض العديد من الصحفيين للتهديد المباشر ولحملات تحريضية من قبل صفحات عبرية على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي كما حدث مع الصحفي مثنى النجار من غزة وكذلك الصحفي محمد تركمان في الضفة الغربية عدى عن رصد العديد من المنشورات العبرية التي تطالب بتصفية الصحفيين ووصفهم بالمخربين والارهابين .
