ووجّه قائد الأمن الداخلي في ريف دمشق رسالة تحذير قوية بقوله: "نُوجّه رسالة واضحة إلى كل من تسوّل له نفسه الانخراط في مشروع الإرهاب أو تقديم الدعم لتنظيم داعش، بأن يد العدالة ستطاله أينما كان، لن يكون هناك مأوى آمن للإرهابيين على أرض سوريا. أمن سوريا وسلامة مواطنيها خط أحمر، وسنواصل الضرب بيد من حديد حتى تطهير كامل تراب الوطن من فلول الإرهاب وأوكاره"، وفقا لروسيا اليوم.
