Around 9:00 to 9:30 in the evening, we learned that the Zionist regime had once again attacked our country and bombed areas of Tehran. Naturally, we could not remain indifferent—especially given that civilians were under attack. During that time, we were both following the news and at the same time mobilizing ourselves to respond and provide assistance.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., a massive and deafening explosion shocked all of us. From the very first moment, we understood that the Zionist regime and the United States had once again revealed the extent of their brutal actions—this time by targeting non-military areas such as a school.
Because we were the nearest medical facility to the hospital, our immediate concern—our entire focus—was how to assist the injured. However, before anything else, since the clinic was active and providing services when the incident occurred, and given how close the explosion was, our first decision was to evacuate the clinic of patients and civilians to prevent further harm. We anticipated that a force capable of targeting children in a school would not hesitate to strike a clinic or hospital as well.
We tried to quickly clear the clinic of patients and visitors, and we succeeded in doing so. At the same time, we began removing as much equipment and supplies as possible, hoping to relocate and resume providing care at another location. Our clinic was one of the busiest in the region, serving not only Minab in eastern Hormozgan province but also many surrounding villages and towns. We had multiple departments—physiotherapy, laboratory services, dentistry, and emergency care—and received a large and diverse number of patients.
For about one to two hours, we continued evacuating both people and equipment. By then, the clinic had been cleared of civilians, and only our staff remained, working to move equipment. It was at this point that the Zionist regime and the United States, in clear violation of all international laws, targeted our clinic itself.
Several key and high-traffic sections of the clinic were struck. Fortunately, at that moment, the building was largely empty, and only our personnel were inside. Still, the damage was devastating. As a result, we lost the ability to serve the people from this facility—this frontline of care—for a long time.
One missile hit the central junction connecting three critical departments: physiotherapy, the laboratory, and the pharmacy. Another missile struck the clinic’s courtyard. A third missile hit our cardiology unit, which was equipped with modern facilities and where a cardiology specialist saw patients daily. That unit was completely disabled.
As for the dental department, nothing remained—everything there was destroyed.
