Following the detection of a rocket launch from the Gaza Strip towards Israel a short time ago (Thursday), an alarm was raised in several communities, including: Beer Sheva, Ofakim, Segev Shalom and the Diaspora. The Iron Dome system intercepted one rocket and three others fell in open areas. Two people, a 50-year-old man from Beersheba and a 14-year-old girl from Ofakim, were reported injured on their way to the police station.

בעקבות זיהוי של שיגור רקטות לפני זמן קצר (חמישי) מרצועת עזה לעבר ישראל הופעלה אזעקה במספר יישובים ובהם: באר שבע, אופקים, שגב שלום והפזורה. מערכת כיפת ברזל יירטה רקטה אחת ושלוש אחרות נפלו בשטחים פתוחים. דווח על שני אנשים, גבר כבן 50 מבאר שבע ונערה כבת 14 מאופקים שנחבלו בדרכם לממ"ד.
