The International Coalition forces, in coordination with the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), conducted an airborne operation targeting the villages of Iskenderun and Rabia, located near the Syrian-Iraqi border south of Tal Hamis in the Hasakah countryside.

According to reports, Iraqi forces participated in the operation, which aimed to pursue active ISIS cells in the area and enhance security along the shared border.

This is the second such operation carried out by the International Coalition in the region since yesterday. The two villages were surrounded, and precise raids were conducted, with reports indicating the arrest of several wanted individuals during the operation.

نفّذت قوات التحالف الدولي، بالتنسيق مع قوى الأمن الداخلي “الاسايش”، عملية إنزال جوي استهدفت قريتي سكندرون وربيعة الواقعتين قرب الشريط الحدودي السوري العراقي جنوب تل حميس بريف الحسكة.

ووفقًا للمعلومات، شاركت وحدات من القوات العراقية في العملية، وذلك في إطار ملاحقة الخلايا النشطة التابعة للتنظيم في المنطقة، وتعزيز أمن الحدود المشتركة.

وتُعدّ هذه العملية الثانية من نوعها التي ينفذها التحالف الدولي في المنطقة منذ أمس، حيث جرى تطويق القريتين وتنفيذ مداهمات دقيقة، وسط معلومات عن اعتقال عدة مطلوبين خلال العملية.
