Raqqa Governorate: After midnight between Wednesday and Thursday, units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out two security operations in the eastern Raqqa countryside, with air support from the International Coalition.

According to reports, ground forces conducted a series of raids targeting several houses in the villages of al-Shaher and Hamra Balasim, east of Raqqa, while helicopters flew intensively overhead.

The operations resulted in the arrest of four individuals accused of belonging to the Islamic State (ISIS), after their movements were monitored and tracked in the area and a tight security cordon was established before they were taken into custody.

وبحسب المعلومات، نفذت القوات البرية سلسلة مداهمات استهدفت عدة منازل في قريتي الشاهر وحمرة بلاسم شرق الرقة، بالتزامن مع تحليق مكثف للمروحيات في الأجواء.
وأسفرت العمليتان عن اعتقال أربعة أشخاص متهمين بالانتماء إلى تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية، وذلك بعد رصد ومتابعة تحركاتهم في المنطقة وفرض طوق أمني محكم، قبل اقتيادهم إلى جهة أمنية.
