Raqqa Governorate: The Syrian Democratic Forces, in cooperation with the International Coalition forces, carried out an airdrop operation this Thursday morning in the Hamrat Jamasa area, located between the cities of Raqqa and Karama, east of Raqqa. The operation resulted in the arrest of an ISIS leader and his transfer to a security facility. According to sources, Coalition helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft participated in the operation, which came after precise monitoring of the movements of ISIS cells. It is noteworthy that the area between Raqqa and Karama has recently witnessed an escalation in the movements of ISIS cells, a dangerous indicator of attempts to reposition themselves in the eastern Raqqa countryside.

محافظة الرقة: نفّذت قوات سوريا الديمقراطية بالتعاون مع قوات التحالف الدولي، عملية إنزال جوي، صباح اليوم الخميس، في منطقة حمرة جماسة الواقعة بين مدينتي الرقة والكرامة شرقي الرقة، أسفرت عن اعتقال قيادي في تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية” واقتياده الى جهة أمنية. ووفقاً للمصادر فقد شاركت بالعملية، طائرات مروحية واستطلاع تابعة “للتحالف”، حيث جاءت بعد عمليات رصد دقيقة لتحركات خلايا تتبع لتنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية”. يُذكر أن المنطقة الواقعة بين الرقة والكرامة شهدت مؤخراً تصاعدًا في تحركات خلايا التنظيم، في مؤشر خطير على محاولات إعادة التمركز في بؤر ريف الرقة الشرقي.
