Raqqa Governorate: International Coalition forces, supported by the Syrian Democratic Forces, carried out an airdrop operation in the middle of Thursday-Friday night, targeting a site suspected of containing ISIS elements in northern Raqqa. The operation resulted in the arrest of three ISIS members. The operation was carried out under heavy air cover, including a complete cordon off of the targeted area. This operation is part of a series of joint security operations aimed at pursuing ISIS cells by International Coalition forces, amid growing warnings of the group reactivating its activities in various areas of Syria.

محافظة الرقة:نفذت قوات التحالف الدولي، بدعم من قوات سوريا الديمقراطية، عملية إنزال جوي في منتصف ليل الخميس–الجمعة، استهدفت موقعًا يُشتبه بوجود عناصر من تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية” في شمال الرقة.

وأسفرت العملية عن اعتقال 3 عناصر من “التنظيم”، وتمت العملية تحت غطاء جوي مكثف، تخلله تطويق كامل للمنطقة المستهدفة.

وتأتي هذه العملية في إطار سلسلة تحركات أمنية مشتركة تهدف إلى ملاحقة خلايا تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية” من قبل قوات “التحالف الدولي”، في ظل تنامي التحذيرات من إعادة تفعيل الأول لأنشطته ضمن مناطق سورية مختلفة.
