The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported two security operations this morning in the eastern Raqqa countryside, carried out by units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with air support from the international coalition.

According to the report, ground forces conducted a series of raids targeting several houses in the villages of al-Shaher and Hamra Balasim, east of Raqqa, while helicopters flew intensively overhead.

The operations resulted in the arrest of four individuals accused of belonging to the Islamic State group, after their movements in the area were monitored and tracked, and a tight security cordon was established before they were taken into custody.

وفي السياق رصد المرصد السوري صباح اليوم، عمليتين أمنيتين في ريف الرقة الشرقي، نفذتها وحدات تابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية، بدعم جوي من قوات التحالف الدولي.
وبحسب المعلومات، نفذت القوات البرية سلسلة مداهمات استهدفت عدة منازل في قريتي الشاهر وحمرة بلاسم شرق الرقة، بالتزامن مع تحليق مكثف للمروحيات في الأجواء.
وأسفرت العمليتان عن اعتقال أربعة أشخاص متهمين بالانتماء إلى تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية، وذلك بعد رصد ومتابعة تحركاتهم في المنطقة وفرض طوق أمني محكم، قبل اقتيادهم إلى جهة أمنية.
