Gaza, October 22, 2024 (WAFA) – Seven Palestinians were killed Tuesday evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a school sheltering displaced people in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli artillery shelled the Zaid bin Haritha School, which was housing displaced people in Beit Lahia, resulting in the deaths of seven Palestinians and injuries to others.

For the eighteenth consecutive day, the Israeli occupation continues its siege of northern Gaza, destroying and bombing homes, preventing the entry of food supplies, and forcibly displacing residents.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 42,718 Palestinians and injuries to 100,282 others, the majority of whom are children and women. This is not a final count, as thousands remain missing under the rubble.

غزة 22-10-2024 وفا- استشهد سبعة مواطنين، مساء اليوم الثلاثاء، في قصف للاحتلال الإسرائيلي استهدف مدرسة تؤوي نازحين في بيت لاهيا، شمال قطاع غزة.

وذكرت مصادر محلية أن مدفعية الاحتلال قصفت مدرسة زيد بن حارثة التي تؤوي نازحين في بيت لاهيا، ما أدى لاستشهاد سبعة مواطنين وإصابة آخرين.

ويواصل الاحتلال لليوم الثامن عشر على التوالي، حصار شمال قطاع غزة، وتدمير وقصف المنازل، ومنع إدخال المواد الغذائية، وإجبار المواطنين على النزوح قسرا.

وتواصل قوات الاحتلال عدوانها على قطاع غزة، برا وبحرا وجوا، منذ السابع من تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2023، ما أسفر عن استشهاد 42,718 مواطنا، وإصابة 100,282 آخرين، أغلبيتهم من الأطفال والنساء، في حصيلة غير نهائية، إذ لا يزال آلاف المفقودين تحت الأنقاض.
