Gaza, October 9, 2023 (WAFA) – Eight Palestinians, mostly children, were killed Monday evening in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Our correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Qannan family west of Khan Younis without prior warning, killing the eight residents. Their bodies were transferred to Nasser Hospital.

For the third consecutive day, Israeli warplanes continued their airstrikes on Palestinian homes in the Gaza Strip. Hundreds of airstrikes were launched Monday evening on various institutions, buildings, and headquarters in the Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City, causing widespread destruction and leveling them to the ground.

Our correspondent reported that hundreds of successive airstrikes by warplanes targeted institutions, headquarters, and buildings, including the Palestinian Telecommunications Company headquarters in the Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City, leveling them to the ground. The strikes also caused extensive damage to nearby homes.

A number of civilians were killed and others wounded in a series of intense airstrikes launched by Israeli warplanes on the Rimal neighborhood in western Gaza City. These strikes followed two massacres perpetrated by the Israeli military in the Jabalia and Shati refugee camps, which left dozens dead and wounded, and caused widespread destruction of homes and property.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes bombed the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza City this evening, causing damage to the hospital's buildings and facilities.

Local sources reported that the area surrounding the hospital was subjected to heavy shelling with several missiles, resulting in significant material damage to several buildings and facilities. No injuries were reported.

Israeli warplanes also bombed several locations east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip and west of Khan Younis.

غزة 9-10-2023 وفا- استشهد ثمانية مواطنين غالبيتهم أطفال، مساء اليوم الإثنين، في غارة إسرائيلية على منزل في خان يونس، جنوب قطاع غزة.

وأفاد مراسلنا بأن طائرات الاحتلال استهدفت منزلا يعود لعائلة قنن غرب خان يونس دون سابق إنذار، ما أدى إلى استشهاد المواطنين الثمانية، وقد تم نقل جثامينهم إلى مستشفى ناصر.

وواصلت طائرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، شن المزيد من غاراتها الجوية على منازل المواطنين في قطاع غزة لليوم الثالث على التوالي، فقد شنت مئات الغارات، مساء اليوم، على مؤسسات ومبان ومقار مختلفة في حي الرمال غرب مدينة غزة، وألحقت دمارا كبيرا بها، وسوتها بالأرض.

وأفاد مراسلنا بأن مئات الغارات المتتالية من الطيران الحربي استهدفت مؤسسات ومقار ومباني بينها مقر شركة الاتصالات الفلسطينية بحي الرمال غرب مدينة غزة، وسوتها بالأرض، كما ألحقت دمارا كبيرا بمنازل المواطنين المجاورة.

وكان قد استشهد عدد من المواطنين وأصيب آخرون، في سلسلة غارات عنيفة شنها الطيران الحربي الإسرائيلي على حي الرمال غرب المدينة، عقب ارتكاب آلة الحرب الإسرائيلية مجزرتين في مخيم جباليا ومخيم الشاطئ راح ضحيتهما عشرات الشهداء والجرحى ودمار كبير في المنازل والممتلكات.

من جانب آخر، قصفت طائرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مساء اليوم، محيط مستشفى الشفاء الطبي غرب مدينة غزة، ما أدى إلى وقوع أضرار في أبنية ومرافق المستشفى.

وأفادت مصادر محلية بأن محيط المستشفى تعرض لقصف عنيف بعدة صورايخ، وأسفر عن وقوع خسائر مادية جسيمة في عدة أبنية ومرافق، دون الإبلاغ عن وقوع إصابات.

كما قصفت طائرات الاحتلال عدة مواقع شرق رفح جنوب قطاع غزة وغرب خانيونس.
