Gaza, May 20, 2021 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were killed and dozens injured, some critically, in renewed Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening.

Medical sources reported the deaths of Saeb al-Kahlout and Maysara al-Ara’ir (22 years old) from the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, after their civilian vehicle was targeted in the Siftawi neighborhood in western Gaza City. Hashim al-Shurafa was also killed, and several others were injured, in an airstrike targeting the Atatra area in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Injuries were also reported among Palestinians, including Ali Abu Jarad (69 years old), who sustained critical injuries when his home in Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, was targeted. Seven injuries, including one critical, were reported after an airstrike targeted an apartment building in the al-Raed area near the Palestine Mosque in central Gaza City.

According to the latest statistics released by the Gaza Ministry of Health, the total number of martyrs has reached 232, including 65 children, 39 women, and 17 elderly people. In addition, 1,900 people have been injured, 90 of whom are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes targeted land near the Ibn al-Nafis School in the al-Zanna area of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, and the Abu Awda house in the al-Balakhiya area of the al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Local sources reported a fire in the al-Jarf house in Abasan al-Jadida, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, caused by artillery shelling. The home of Wael Rajab in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, was also destroyed by Israeli shelling.

Israeli forces continue to prevent a Doctors Without Borders team from entering the Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes targeted and destroyed the two-story home of the Kahil family in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The bombing also ignited fires in several factories in the Karni industrial zone after they were targeted by Israeli shells, including the Siksik plastics factory, which in turn caused a fire in the adjacent Coca-Cola bottling plant.

Furthermore, artillery shelling of civilian homes east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip set them ablaze. Israeli warplanes also targeted the home of the Arini family in Tel al-Za'tar in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, and the home of the Abu Rizq family in the Emirati neighborhood of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

In Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes targeted the home of Salman Adwan and farmland on al-Hatabiya Street in Beit Lahia.

غزة 20-5-2021 وفا- استشهد مساء اليوم الخميس ثلاثة مواطنين وأصيب العشرات بينها حالات خطيرة في تجدد الغارات الحربية على مناطق مختلفة في قطاع غزة.

وأعلنت مصادر الطبية استشهاد المواطنين صائب الكحلوت، وميسرة العرعير (22 عاما) من حي الشجاعية شرقي مدينة غزة بعد استهداف سيارة مدنية كانا يستقلانها في حي الصفطاوي غربي مدينة غزة، كما استشهد المواطن هاشم الشرفا وأصيب عدد آخر من المواطنين جراء استهداف منطقة العطاطرة في بيت لاهيا شمالي القطاع.

كما أعلن عن وقوع إصابات بين المواطنين بينها حالة خطيرة للمواطن علي أبو جراد (69 عاما) إثر استهداف منزلهم في بيت حانون شمالي القطاع، وسجلت سبع إصابات بينها حالة خطيرة بعد استهداف شقة سكنية في عمارة الرائد قرب مسجد فلسطين وسط مدينة غزة.

وفي أحدث إحصائية أصدرتها وزارة الصحة بغزة فقد وصل عدد إجمالي الشهداء حتى اللحظة 232 بينهم 65 طفلا و39 سيدة و17 مسن، بالإضافة إلى إصابة 1900 شخص بجروح مختلفة منها 90 حالة خطيرة.

هذا واستهدف الطيران الحربي أرضا بجوار مدرسة ابن النفيس في منطقة الزنة في بني سهيلا شرقي خان يونس ومنزل أبو عودة في منطقة البلاخية في مخيم الشاطئ غربي مدينة غزة.

وأفادت مصادر محلية باندلاع حريق في منزل الجرف في عبسان الجديدة بسبب قذائف المدفعية شرق خان يونس جنوبي القطاع، وتدمير منزل وائل رجب في بيت لاهيا شمالي القطاع جراء قصف الاحتلال.

ولا تزال قوات الاحتلال تمنع فريق منظمة أطباء بلا حدود من دخول القطاع.

كما استهدف الطيران الحربي الإسرائيلي منزل عائلة كحيل المكون من طابقين في حي الشجاعية شرقي مدينة غزة ودمرته، كما أدى القصف لاشتعال النيران في عدد من المصانع في المنطقة الصناعية "كارني" عقب استهدافها بقذائف الاحتلال، ومنها مصنع السكسك للبلاستيك الأمر الذي أدى إلى اشتعال النيران في مصنع مشروبات كوكاكولا المجاور.

كما أدى استهداف منازل المواطنين شرق دير البلح وسط القطاع بقذائف المدفعية إلى اشتعال النيران فيها، وفيما استهدف الطيران الحربي منزل عائلة العريني في تل الزعتر بمخيم جباليا شمالي القطاع، ومنزل عائلة أبو رزق في الحي الإماراتي في خانيونس جنوبي القطاع.

وفي بيت حانون شمال القطاع استهدف الطيران الحربي منزل سلمان عدوان وأرضا زراعية في شارع الحطبية في بيت لاهيا شمالي القطاع.
