Gaza, October 13, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces bombed Salah al-Din Street in Gaza City on Friday while hundreds of displaced people were gathered there.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that the occupation forces dropped leaflets from warplanes, ordering residents to leave northern Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, which they termed the “fire belt,” and urging them to head to the southern Wadi Gaza area. As residents of the threatened area were fleeing, the occupation forces began shelling the main road leading to it.
The same sources reported that a number of civilians were injured in the bombing that targeted the displaced people.
Earlier, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit called on UN Secretary-General António Guterres to use his political and moral influence to prevent a new war crime that Israel is planning to commit as part of its bloody campaign against the Gaza Strip, by demanding that all residents of the northern Gaza Strip immediately move to the south.
UNRWA announced in a statement that approximately 250,000 people have sought refuge in UNRWA schools and centers throughout the devastated Gaza Strip, in addition to another 250,000 internally displaced within the local community.

غزة 13-10-2023 وفا- قصفت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، اليوم الجمعة، شارع صلاح الدين في غزة خلال تواجد مئات النازحين قسرًا من منازلهم.
وقال شهود عيان لـ"وفا" إن قوات الاحتلال ألقت عليهم عبر الطائرات الحربية منشورات، طالبتهم فيها بمغادرة شمال مدينة غزة وشمال القطاع فيما سمته "الحزام الناري"، ودعتهم إلى التوجه إلى منطقة جنوب وادي غزة، وأنه خلال نزوح أهالي المنطقة المهددة، باشرت قوات الاحتلال بقصف الشارع الرئيس المؤدي إليها.
وأفادت المصادر ذاتها، بإصابة عدد من المواطنين جراء القصف الذي استهدف النازحين.
وكان الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط، طالب في وقت سابق، الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، بضرورة أن يضع ثقله السياسي والمعنوي للحيلولة دون جريمة حرب جديدة تخطط إسرائيل لارتكابها، كجزء من حملتها الدموية ضد قطاع غزة عبر مطالبتها كافة سكان شمال القطاع بالانتقال فورا إلى جنوبه.
وأعلنت "الأونروا" في بيان، أن نحو 250 ألف مواطن لجأوا إلى مدارس ومراكز "الأونروا في مختلف أرجاء قطاع غزة المدمَّر، إضافة إلى نزوح نحو 250 ألف مواطن آخر داخل المجتمع المحلي.
