Gaza, January 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces killed a child and wounded another on Monday evening in the center of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent reported that the child, Zakaria Hamid Yahya Barabakh, was killed near the Return Roundabout in the center of Rafah after being shot by Israeli snipers. Another child was wounded while attempting to retrieve his body.
Earlier that evening, two Palestinians, one of them a child, were killed and nine others, including children, were wounded by Israeli fire in Rafah.
It should be noted that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip went into effect on Sunday at 11:15 AM.

غزة 20-1-2025 وفا- أعدم جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي طفلا وأصاب آخر، مساء اليوم الاثنين، وسط مدينة رفح، جنوب قطاع غزة.
وأفاد مراسلنا باستشهاد الطفل زكريا حميد يحيى بربخ، قرب دوار العودة وسط مدينة رفح، إثر إطلاق قناصة الاحتلال النار عليه، وإصابة طفل آخر حاول انتشال جثمانه.
وكان استشهد مواطنان، أحدهما طفل، وأصيب 9 آخرون، بينهم أطفال، في وقت سابق من مساء اليوم، برصاص قوات الاحتلال في مدينة رفح.
يشار إلى أن وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة دخل حيز التنفيذ أمس الأحد، في تمام الساعة 11:15 صباحا.
