Abu Dhabi, March 1 (WAM) – Authorities in Abu Dhabi responded to an incident involving debris from a drone that was intercepted by air defenses. The debris fell on the facade of one of the Etihad Towers buildings, resulting in minor injuries to a woman and her child, and minor material damage.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office stated that authorities clarified that the sounds heard in the emirate were a result of the successful interception. They urged the public to refrain from spreading rumors and misinformation and to obtain information only from official sources. They confirmed that updates will be published as soon as they become available.
