A statement of condolence issued by the Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades:

With immense pride and honor, the Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees in Palestine, mourn the martyred commander,

"Muhammad Mahmoud al-Batran" (Abu Yusuf), commander of the artillery unit and member of the military council of the Central Brigade.

He was martyred at dawn today, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in a cowardly and treacherous assassination carried out by the Nazi Zionist enemy, who targeted his family home in al-Bureij refugee camp. He lived a life filled with jihad, resistance, and immense sacrifices, joining his son, daughter, and brothers who were martyred during the war of extermination in a previous assassination attempt.

As we mourn the martyred commander, "Muhammad al-Batran" (Abu Yusuf), a new martyr on the path to liberating Jerusalem and our Al-Aqsa Mosque, we affirm that the blood of the martyred commander, Abu Yusuf, and all the martyrs of our people and nation, will be a curse that will strike and burn the criminal Zionist and American enemy entities, thanks to the legendary steadfastness and resilience of our free people. Our steadfast resistance.

We affirm that the policy of assassinations and massacres will only increase the resolve of the Palestinian resistance and its steadfast people to continue the resistance and open confrontation until the malicious Zionist entity is eradicated and uprooted from existence.

الذى إرتقى فجر اليوم الثلاثاء 18-3-2025م، بعملية اغتيال جبانة وغادرة نفذها العدو الصهيوني النازي باستهداف منزل عائلته في مخيم البريج  بعد حياة حافلة بالجهاد والمقاومة والتضحيات الجسام ليلتحق بنجله وإبنته وأشقاءه الذين إرتقوا خلال حرب الإبادة في محاولة إغتيال سابقة .

إننا إذ نزف الشهيد القائد" محمد البطران"أبويوسف" شهيداً وقمراً جديداً على طريق تحرير القدس ومسجدنا الأقصى لنؤكد ان دماء الشهيد القائد أبا يوسف وكل شهداء شعبنا و أمتنا ستكون لعنات تصعق وتحرق كيان العدوين الصهيوني والأمريكي المجرمين  بفعل الصمود والثبات الأسطوري لشعبنا الحر الأبي ومقاومتنا الباسلة .

نؤكد سياسة الإغتيالات والمذابح لن تزيد المقاومة الفلسطينية وشعبها الأبي إلا إصراراً على مواصلة المقاومة والمواجهة المفتوحة حتى زوال الكيان الصهيوني الخبيث وإجتثاثه من الوجود.
