My teacher, Ms. Suheila Abu Shamala, and her family were killed in the Abu Shamala massacre this afternoon in Khan Younis. She dedicated her life to the UNRWA-run Khan Younis Preparatory Girls' School (B)/Hayat. Over the years, she taught generations of students, including myself, my sister, my cousins, girls from my neighborhood, and many, many friends. We will never forget her.

ارتقت في مجزرة أبو شمالة ظُهر اليوم في خانيونس معلمتي الأستاذة سهيلة أبو شمالة وعائلتها. اشتغلت طوال حياتها في مدرسة بنات خانيونس الإعدادية (ب)/حياة التابعة للأونروا. خرَّجت خلال السنين هذي أجيال منهم أنا وأختي وبنات عمي وبنات حارتي والعديد العديد من الصديقات. لا والله لن ننسى.
