UPDATE: @USAfricaCommand reported on Sunday that two air strikes against #ISIS #Somalia were conducted, the first on May 31, 2025, and the second on June 1, 2025, both approximately 72 km south of #Bassaso in #Puntland. While the U.S. Africa Command did not release details about casualties, they emphasized “ISIS-Somalia's demonstrated ability and willingness to attack U.S. forces”.
