SDF militias conduct raids on the outskirts of Al-Shuhail, east of Deir ez-Zor

The SDF militias carried out a raid and search operation in the Al-Atal area, located on the outskirts of the town of Al-Shuhail, east of Deir ez-Zor, after midnight last night, accompanied by helicopter gunships. The operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals: Majed Al-Bouri and Adhab Al-Hassouni. The reasons for their arrest are still unknown.

This campaign is part of a series of raids carried out by the militias in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, raising concerns among residents about the continuation of arbitrary arrests, especially given the lack of transparency and legal procedures. This situation is exacerbating the tension and public resentment in the region.

نفذت ميليشيات #قسد حملة مداهمات وتفتيش في منطقة العتال الواقعة على أطراف بلدة #الشحيل شرقي #دير_الزور بعد منتصف الليلة الماضية، بمرافقة الطيران المروحي. وأسفرت العملية عن اعتقال شخصين هما: ماجد البوري وعذاب الحسوني، من دون معرفة الأسباب وراء اعتقالهما حتى الآن.

تأتي هذه الحملة ضمن سلسلة من المداهمات التي تنفذها الميليشيات في ريف ديرالزور، ما يثير قلق الأهالي من استمرار الاعتقالات العشوائية، خاصة مع غياب الشفافية والإجراءات القانونية، الأمر الذي يزيد من حالة التوتر والاحتقان الشعبي في المنطقة.
