Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Martyrdom of the Leader of the Nation and the Great Leader of the Islamic Republic, His Holiness Ayatollah #Imam_Khamenei (May his soul be blessed)

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Among the believers are men who have fulfilled what Allah has promised them. Among them are those who have fulfilled it, and among them are those who wait, and they have not exchanged it for a change.

The Leader of the Nation and the Great Leader of the Islamic Republic, His Holiness Ayatollah Khamenei (May his soul be blessed), attained the lofty status of martyrdom and joined the Kingdom of the Highest during the brutal attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime on his house on the morning of Saturday, the 10th of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran congratulates and condoles the martyrdom of this learned scholar and great leader in the presence of Hazrat Baqiyatullah-ul-Azam (sacrificing spirits), the noble people of Iran, the Islamic Ummah and all freedom-loving and moral-minded people around the world.

The terrorist act of America and the Zionist regime in the assassination of the supreme leader of Islamic Iran and other senior officials of the country in the form of military aggression against territorial integrity and national sovereignty is an unprecedented violation of all normative and moral principles and foundations accepted by human society and the most flagrant violation of the fundamental rules of the United Nations Charter and international law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs draws the attention of all countries to the serious fact that the unprovoked military attack on Iran and the assassination of the country's leaders and the massacre of innocent citizens is a very dangerous heresy in international relations and a terrible turn towards the rule of naked bullying and unbridled force at the global level.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the responsibility of international institutions, especially the United Nations, its Security Council, and the Secretary-General himself, as well as individual member states of the United Nations, to protect the principles and rules that are the product of centuries of human experience to control power and prevent the dominance of force in state relations.

Without a doubt, indifference and inaction towards the oppression and organized crime of the United States and the Zionist regime will lead to the emergence of tyrants and criminals, and its effects and consequences will affect the entire world for generations. The renewed military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran in the midst of a diplomatic process, which is a repetition of their military aggression last June, is a continuation of the hegemonic and criminal operations that these two evil actors have launched in West Asia and have pursued, especially in the last two and a half years, with the colonial genocide of the Palestinians and attacks on independent countries in the region.

It is unfortunate that the designers and executors of this sinister plan, the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, are among the most corrupt and evil leaders in the world, and the record of their moral corruption and heinous crimes, including genocide and war crimes, is clear to everyone.

Without a doubt, the raised banner of justice, freedom, honor, friendship with Iran, and morality of the dear and noble leader of Iran will not remain on earth. The cowardly assassination of this great leader and educated Iranian man will turn him into an immortal legend in the history of Iran and Shiism, who will forever guarantee the stability and dynamism of Iran and Islam, and inspire the pursuit of justice, freedom, and honor of Iranians and Muslims.

The free nation of Iran, by trusting in God and relying on its precious civilizational and historical heritage, will continue the path of independence, dignity, and resistance with greater steadfastness, and the ill-wishers of this nation are well aware that martyrdom will not be the end of a path, but rather the beginning of a new stage of historical responsibility and resistance.

بیانیه وزرات امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی ایران به مناسبت شهادت قائد امت و رهبر بزرگ ایران اسلامی، حضرت آیت‌الله العظمی #امام_خامنه‌ای (قدّس سرّه الشّریف)

مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ رِجالٌ صَدَقُوا ما عاهَدُوا اللّهَ عَلَیْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضى نَحْبَهُ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ یَنْتَظِرُ وَ ما بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِیلاً

قائد امت و رهبر بزرگ ایران اسلامی، حضرت آیت‌الله العظمی خامنه‌ای (قدّس سرّه الشّریف)، در جریان حملات وحشیانه آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی به بیت ایشان در صبح روز شنبه دهم ماه مبارک رمضان، به مقام رفیع شهادت رسید و به ملکوت اعلی پیوست.

وزارت امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی ایران شهادت این عالم فرهیخته و رهبر بزرگ را به محضر نورانی حضرت بقیه الله الاعظم (ارواحنا فداه)، مردم شریف ایران، امت اسلامی و همه انسان‌های آزادی‌خواه و اخلاق‌مدار در سراسر جهان تبریک و تسلیت عرض می‌کند.

اقدام تروریستی آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی در ترور رهبر عظیم‌الشأن ایران اسلامی و دیگر مقام‌های ارشد کشور در قالب تجاوز نظامی علیه تمامیت سرزمینی و حاکمیت ملی، تجاوزی بی‌سابقه به همه اصول و بنیان‌های هنجاری و اخلاقی مورد پذیرش جامعه انسانی و فاحش‌ترین نقض قواعد بنیادین منشورسازمان ملل متحد و حقوق بین‌الملل محسوب می‌شود.

وزارت امور خارجه توجه همه کشورها را به این واقعیت خطیر جلب می‌کند که تعرض نظامی بی‌دلیل به ایران و ترور رهبران کشور و قتل عام شهروندان بی‌گناه، بدعتی بس خطرناک در روابط بین‌الدولی و چرخشی هولناک به سمت حاکمیت قلدری عریان و زور لجام‌گسیخته در سطح جهانی است.

وزارت امور خارجه مسئولیت نهادهای بین‌المللی به‌ویژه سازمان ملل متحد، شورای امنیت آن سازمان، و شخص دبیرکل و نیز تک‌تک دولت‌های عضو سازمان ملل متحد را برای برای صیانت از اصول و قواعدی که محصول قرن‌ها تجربه زیسته بشری برای مهار قدرت و جلوگیری از سیطره زور در روابط دولت‌ها است، خاطرنشان می‌کند.

بدون تردید، بی‌تفاوتی و بی‌عملی در قبال ظلم و جنایت سازمان‌یافته آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی، موجب جری‌شدن ظالمان و جنایتکاران می‌شود و آثار و پیامدهای آن برای نسل‌ها همه جهان را تحت تأثیر قرار خواهد داد. تعرض نظامی دوباره آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی به ایران در میانه یک روند دیپلماتیک، که تکرار تجاوز نظامی آنها در خردادماه گذشته است، ادامه عملیات سیطره‌طلبانه و مجرمانه‌ای است که این دو بازیگر شرور درغرب آسیا به راه انداخته‌اند و به‌ویژه در دو سال و نیم اخیر با نسل‌کشی استعماری فلسطینیان و حمله به کشورهای مستقل منطقه دنبال کرده‌اند.

تأسف‌بار اینکه طراحان و مجریان این نقشه شوم، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا و نخست‌وزیر رژیم صهیونیستی، جزو فاسدترین و شرورترین رهبران موجود جهان بوده و پرونده فساد اخلاقی و جنایات شنیع آنها از جمله نسل‌کشی و جنایات جنگی، برای همگان آشکار است.

بدون شک، پرچم برافراشته عدالت، آزادی‌خواهی، عزت طلبی، ایران دوستی و اخلاق‌مداری رهبر عزیز و شریف ایران بر زمین نخواهد ماند. ترور بزدلانه این رهبر بزرگ و انسان فرهیخته ایرانی، او را تبدیل به اسطوره‌ای نامیرا در تاریخ ایران و تشیع خواهد کرد که تا ابد ضامن پایایی و پویایی ایران و اسلام و الهام‌بهش حق‌جویی، آزادی‌خواهی و عزت‌طلبی ایرانیان و مسلمانان خواهد بود.

ملت آزاده ایران، با توکل بر خدا و اتکا به میراث گران‌سنگ تمدنی و تاریخی خود، مسیر استقلال، عزت و مقاومت را باصلابت بیشتری ادامه خواهد داد و بدخواهان این ملت به‌خوبی آگاه‌اند که شهادت، نه پایان یک راه، بلکه آغاز مرحله‌ای نوین از مسئولیت و ایستادگی تاریخی خواهد بود.
