Since dawn today, the Armed Forces have detected and engaged (13) hostile ballistic missiles within Kuwaiti airspace. These missiles were intercepted over several residential areas, resulting in some debris falling.
The Armed Forces also detected and engaged (17) hostile drones.
This heinous Iranian aggression targeted civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in the death of an Indian resident and injuries to several others, in addition to significant material damage.
We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to all those injured.
We urge all citizens and residents to refrain from approaching, photographing, publishing, or sharing any images or videos of the damaged sites or debris remnants of the interception operations on social media, in the interest of public safety and security.
We also emphasize the importance of adhering to security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities and obtaining information from official and accredited sources.
The Armed Forces affirm their continued commitment to performing their duties with full readiness and preparedness, in coordination with the relevant state authorities, to take all necessary measures to maintain the security of the country and the safety of citizens and residents.

رصدت وتعاملت القوات المسلحة منذ فجر اليوم مع عدد (13) صاروخاً باليستياً معادياً داخل المجال الجوي الكويتي، وتم اعتراضها فوق عدد من المناطق السكنية، مما أسفر عن سقوط بعض الشظايا.
كما رصدت القوات المسلحة وتعاملت مع عدد (17) طائرة مسيّرة معادية.
وقد نتج عن هذا العدوان الإيراني الآثم استهداف المنشآت المدنية والحيوية، ومنها مطار الكويت الدولي، ما أسفر عن وفاة مقيم من الجنسية الهندية وإصابة عدد من الأشخاص، بالإضافة إلى أضرار مادية جسيمة.
ونتقدم بخالص التعازي والمواساة إلى أسرة المتوفى وذويه، ونتمنى الشفاء العاجل لجميع المصابين.
ونهيب بالإخوة المواطنين والمقيمين عدم الإقتراب و التصوير و نشر و تداول أي صور أومقاطع فيديو للمواقع المتضررة أو مواقع سقوط الشظايا ومخلفات عمليات الاعتراض عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، حرصاً على الأمن والسلامة العامة.
كما نؤكد أهمية التقيد بتعليمات الأمن والسلامة الصادرة عن الجهات المختصة، واستقاء المعلومات من المصادر الرسمية المعتمدة.
وتؤكد القوات المسلحة استمرارها في أداء مهامها بكامل الجاهزية والإستعداد، وبالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية في الدولة، لاتخاذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة للحفاظ على أمن البلاد وسلامة المواطنين والمقيمين.
