هكذا كانت ردة فعلها عندما تلقّت خبر استشهاد زوجها وأبناؤها،
حيث كانت ذاهبة إلى السوق وعندما عادت إلى مدرسة (شحيبر) التي نزحوا إليها من شمال قطاع غزة وجدت المدرسة قد قُصفت على رؤوس من فيها وقد استشهد زوجها وأبناؤها.
