Dr. Hussam Abu Safieh, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital:

There are approximately 50 martyrs, including three of our medical staff, under the rubble of a building opposite Kamal Adwan Hospital after it was bombed by Israeli warplanes.

Ahmed Samour, a pediatrician, was working at the hospital and had gone to the apartment building where he lived with his family.

Israa, a lab technician, had gone out to get food for her father and brother in the same building when they were immediately targeted in an Israeli F-16 strike.

When Fares, a maintenance technician, saw the scene, he rushed to try to rescue what he could; unfortunately, he was also targeted, resulting in the martyrdom of three of our medical staff and 50 others trapped under the rubble.

As for the paramedics, Abdul Majid and Maher, they were on their way to the hospital near Zayed Roundabout, which is 500 meters away, when they were targeted and killed instantly. Their bodies remain in the street, inaccessible to anyone.

Another dark day in the series of crimes against Kamal Adwan Hospital and its employees.

هناك ما يقارب 50 شهيدًا، من بينهم ثلاثة من كادرنا الطبي، تحت أنقاض مبنى مقابل لمستشفى كمال عدوان بعد قصف طائرات الاحتلال الحربية.

كان أحمد سمور، طبيب الأطفال، يعمل في المستشفى وخرج إلى البرج الذي يقيم فيه مع عائلته.

أما إسراء، فنية المختبر، فقد خرجت لإحضار الطعام لوالدها وأخيها في ذات المبنى، وتم استهدافهم على الفور في ضربة من طائرة F-16 إسرائيلية.

عندما رأى فارس، فني الصيانة، المشهد، هرع لمحاولة إنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه؛ وللأسف، تم استهدافه أيضًا، مما أسفر عن استشهاد ثلاثة من كادرنا الطبي و50 آخرين تحت الأنقاض.

أما المسعفون، عبد المجيد وماهر، فقد كانا في طريقهما إلى المستشفى عند دوار زايد، الذي يبعد 500 متر عن المستشفى، عندما تم استهدافهما واستشهادهما على الفور، و ما يزال جثمانيهما في الشارع حيث لا يستطيع أحد الوصول اليهما.
