- An Israeli special force carried out an armed attack near the Red Cross Hospital west of Rafah, resulting in the deaths of two civilians, including a journalist, and the kidnapping of Dr. Marwan al-Hamas, director of field hospitals.

- In the details, an armed group opened fire on civilians inside a cafeteria opposite the hospital, killing two people and kidnapping a third.

- It was later revealed that the kidnapped person was Dr. al-Hamas, who was abducted during a visit to the hospital and transferred to the Israeli interrogation center in Rafah. The ambulance driver accompanying him was injured.

- It was later announced that journalist Tamer al-Za'anin was killed by direct gunfire fired by the same force during the operation.

- في التفاصيل، فتحت مجموعة مسلحة النار على مدنيين داخل كافتيريا مقابل المستشفى، ما أدى لاستشهاد شخصين واختطاف ثالث.
