Four martyrs in a drone strike believed to be Israeli An air strike from a drone targeting a farm west of Sweida city killed four civilians from the governorate on Friday afternoon. A medical source told Suwayda 24 that four bodies arrived at the Sweida National Hospital as a result of a violent explosion. He identified the victims as Issam Azzam, Laith Bahsas, Hamza Kahoul, and Fadi Abu Turabi. The sudden explosion that shook the city of Sweida occurred on a farm located west of the city, owned by Mr. Issam Azzam. The explosion occurred as a drone believed to be Israeli flew overhead. Eyewitnesses and cross-referenced field sources confirmed to Suwayda 24 that while the drone was flying, it was fired upon from a medium machine gun near the targeted farm. Within seconds of the firing, the drone responded by bombing the farm. Upon examining the targeted site, it became clear that the crater resulting from the strike was large, and the damage to the site was extensive. It does not appear that this was caused by a locally manufactured drone. For several days now, Israeli drones have been in the skies of southern Syria, amid the tense security situation. Their sounds can still be heard in various parts of the province.

أربعة شهداء في قصف طائرة مسيرة يُعتقد أنها إسرائيلية تسبب قصف جوي من طائرة مسيّرة استهدف مزرعة غربي مدينة السويداء، باستشهاد أربعة مواطنين من أبناء المحافظة، بعد ظهر اليوم الجمعة. مصدر طبي قال للسويداء 24، إن أربعة جثامين وصلت إلى مشفى السويداء الوطني جراء انفجار شديد، مشيراً إلى أن أسماء الضحايا: عصام عزام، ليث بحصاص، حمزة كحول، وفادي أبو ترابي. الانفجار المفاجئ الذي هز دوّيه مدينة السويداء، وقع في مزرعة تقع إلى الغرب من المدينة، وتعود للسيد عصام عزام. الانفجار وقع لحظة تحليق طائرة مسيّرة يُعتقد أنها إسرائيلية. شهود عيان ومصادر ميدانية متقاطعة أكدت قالت للسويداء 24، أنه في أثناء تحليق المسيّرة، تم إطلاق النار باتجاهها من رشاش متوسط بالقرب من المزرعة المستهدفة، وخلال ثوانٍ معدودة بعد إطلاق النار، ردّت المسيرة بقصف المزرعة. ومن خلال معاينة الموقع المستهدف، بدا واضحاً أن الحفرة الناتجة عن القصف كبيرة، والأضرار في الموقع فادحة، ولا يبدو كل ذلك ناجماً عن مسيرة محليّة الصنع. ومنذ عدّة أيام لا تفارق المسيّرات الإسرائيلية أجواء المنطقة الجنوبية في سوريا، في ظل الأوضاع الأمنية المتوترة. ولا تزال تُسمع أصوات المسيّرات في هذه الأثناء في أماكن متفرقة من المحافظة.
