On Saturday, October 7th, 2023, between thirteen and more than thirty civilians, including seven children, were injured by an alleged artillery attack by groups linked to the Turkish army (Al-Fateh Al-Mubin, Faylaq al-Sham, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham). The reported attack damaged civilian homes in the cities of Nubl and Al-Zahraa in the northern Aleppo countryside, reportedly striking them with Grad missiles.

Alyaum TV reported 13 injured, including 7 children, Sputnik News 25 injured, while North Press News reported more than 30. Sputnik News added that four of the injured were transferred to Aleppo hospitals due to the seriousness of their injuries.

Multiple sources reported on the event. Notably, Military Monitor reported: “Exclusive coverage of the bombing of Assad gangs’ positions inside the towns of Nubl and Al-Zahra in the Aleppo countryside with rocket launchers by Al-Fateh Al-Mubin in response to the bombing of the liberated areas”.

Multiple sources reported on the attack being done with Grad missiles.

According to Military Monitor, Ayham Al-Bayosh, Radio Al-THawra and Orient, the attack was allegedly conducted by Al-Fateh Al-Mubin. Jamil Al-Hasan attributed it to Faylaq Al-Sham, while Alyaum TV to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham. All of the groups are linked to the Turkish military.
