Two civilians were killed on Monday, September 23rd, 2024 by an alleged Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.
Musa Muhammad Mazraani and Ahmad Muhammad Atwi were named online, with testimonies posted on social media about their deaths.
Ziad Ghanwi published photos on Facebook of both Musa Muhammad Mazraani and Ahmad Muhammad Atwi, referring to them as “two good workers.”
Musa Muhammad Mazraani was recognized as a “son of the town of Houla” by the social media account for Bintjbeil News, which also posted an image of Musa, a middle-aged man in a grey button-down shirt standing in front of mountains. Similarly, Ahmed Mohammed Atwi was identified by Bintjbeil News and ‘Ahmad Ibrahim’ as also hailing from the town of Houla.
Musa Muhammad Mazraani was also referred to as uncle and brother-in-law by social media accounts; Jalal Shraim, and Hatem Mazraani respectively.
