An elderly woman was reportedly injured as the result of an alleged Israeli airstrike next to her home in the Ghobeiry municipality, located in the Dahieh suburb of southern Beirut, on Tuesday 26 November 2024.
In a Facebook post, the Lebanese Civil Defense wrote that they had rescued an elderly woman who was “injured when part of the roof of her house collapsed”, next to the site of an Israeli airstrike. The Civil Defense reported that they had transferred the woman to al-Sahel Hospital in Beirut for medical treatment.
The Lebanese Civil Defense Facebook post was the only source identified to have reported the incident, therefore this incident has been graded as a “single source claim” and will be updated should more information about the incident comes to light.
