On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Civil Defense crews from the Al-Resala Centre recovered the bodies of “two martyrs” as a result of alleged Israeli airstrikes in the town of Burj Qalawiya, Southern Lebanon.

Multiple sources, including Alaraby news and Alahednews, reported that Israeli aircraft and warplanes launched a series of raids and “targeted” the town of Burj Qalawiya in southern Lebanon. The NNA, which is the official national news agency of Lebanon, specified that these alleged attacks and raids took place around 5:30 pm local time.

In a Facebook post by Sout Alarz News, an image was shared of what appears to be of an ambulance belonging to the Al-Resala Centre en route to Burj Qalawiya. Sout Alarz and the NNA also reported that the bodies of the two deceased civilians retrieved by Civil Defense crews from the Al-Resala Centre were then handed over to the relevant authorities.

Further information and the identities of the two dead civilians were not disclosed in any of the sources reporting on the alleged attack.
