A civilian was reportedly killed and three others injured at dawn on Saturday, February 1, 2025, when Turkish forces and/or affiliated armed factions allegedly bombed the Tishreen Dam in the Manbij countryside, east of Aleppo, Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) and Basnews.

The injured were reportedly transported to nearby hospitals. The civilians were on duty at the dam at the time of the strike.

Where the belligerent was identified, most sources attributed the attack to the Turkish military, though Basnews reported that Syrian armed factions were responsible. However, it was unclear to whom this source refers. All sources stated that the strike was carried out using a drone.

A photo published by Nabd Syria News shows the aftermath of the attack, with two demolished cars, shattered windows, and scattered belongings at the scene.
