This testified to his good character and tolerance. Last night… at one of the advanced medical points on the Sweida front, God willed that I should meet him by chance… I found him there in the middle of the night, among them, as if the matter concerned him personally, even though he did not belong to the medical sector at all. I stood beside him, listening to the voice messages he was sending... coordinating, following up, and securing medicines and medical equipment with great eagerness and care. I couldn't control myself, so I asked him: "This is none of your business. What does it have to do with you?" Mohammed al-Bayoumi was also present with us... Khaled replied, smiling: "I'm actually... I'm going to leave." Al-Bayoumi responded, laughing: "Where do you want to go... take over from Abu Suhaib (the governor of Daraa)?" Khaled smiled as usual and said, in a tone that was half joking but half profound: "I'm going to move up a notch... I won't stay where I am much longer." At that moment... without intending to, I picked up my phone and took a spontaneous video of him... It was neither intentional nor planned... a sincere moment, half tired and half joking, half careful and half awake... Today, I look back on that clip... as if it were an unannounced farewell. And, praise be to God... Khaled truly "moved up a notch." Ascend as a martyr... Ascend beautifully... There is a great difference between someone who devotes his life and position to serving his religion and his family, and someone who drags his people into darkness and strife. There is a great difference between someone who lived for the truth... and died for it. منذ أن انطلقت شرارة الثورة السورية، كان لا بد أن يُذكر اسم خالد الزعبي (خالد الغنو)… ذاك الرجل الذي بقي حتى لحظة استشهاده يتولى منصب مدير منطقة بصرى الشام. قائد بالفطرة، لم يصنعه المنصب ولا الألقاب، بل المواقف هي التي صقلته… وكانت حكمته وصبره سببًا في إنقاذ الكثير من المواقف والشباب في معارك لا تُنسى. رغم خلافي الفكري اتجاه احد المشاريع الشخصية في البلدة معه في إحدى السنوات، لم يكن منه إلا أن قابلني بوجهه البشوش وابتسامته التي لا تفارقه… كأننا التقينا للتو، لا كأن بيننا خلافًا مرّ عليه زمن وهذا دل على طيب أخلاق و التسامح الذي يملكه. وليلة الأمس… وفي إحدى النقاط الطبية المتقدمة على جبهة السويداء، شاء الله أن تجمعني به الصدفة… وجدته هناك في منتصف الليل، بينهم، وكأن الأمر يعنيه شخصيًا رغم أنه لا يتبع للقاطع الطبي أصلًا. وقفت إلى جانبه أسمع الرسائل الصوتية التي كان يرسلها… ينسق، ويتابع، ويؤمّن الأدوية والمعدات الطبية بلهفة وحرص شديد. لم أتمالك نفسي فسألته: “مو شغلتك هالقصة، شو دخلك؟” وكان محمد البيومي حاضرًا معنا… فرد خالد وهو يبتسم: “أنا أصلاً… راح أترك.” رد عليه البيومي ضاحكًا: “وين بدك تروح… تمسك مكان أبو صهيب (محافظ درعا)؟” وابتسم خالد كعادته، وقال بنبرة فيها من المزاح ما فيها من عمق: “راح أطلع درجة… ما راح أظل بمكاني كافي.” في تلك اللحظة… دون أن أقصد، رفعت هاتفي وصورت له فيديو عفوي… لم يكن مقصودًا ولا مخططًا… لحظة صادقة، بين التعب والمزاح، بين الحرص والسهر… واليوم، أعود وأتأمل ذلك المقطع… كأنه وداع غير معلن. وسبحان الله… خالد فعلاً “طلع درجة”. ترقى شهيدًا… ترقى جميلًا… شتّان بين من يجعل حياته ومنصبه في خدمة دينه وأهله، وبين من يجرّ قومه إلى الظلمات والفتن. شتّان بين من عاش للحق… ومات عليه. رحمك الله يا خالد… وأسأل الله أن يجعلك في أعلى عليين، وأن يجمعنا بك في مستقر رحمته. #سوريا #السويداء #درعا

He departed silently, just as he lived silently. Abu Yaqoub Muhajja, the first officer to defect from the Syrian regime, and the brother of three martyrs, bore arms sincerely, with pure intentions and a pure character. He departed in the face of the battle... confronting the Druze who had rebelled against the state, and confronting the Jewish occupier who, mistaking him for a passive citizen, attacked him, slaughtering them before departing. We were having breakfast together this morning. I left him for a few minutes, then returned to him, looked into his eyes, and said, "I will not leave you." He smiled, as usual, with the calm of a confident man, and then bid me farewell, unaware that this was the last time. Abu Yaqoub has departed... leaving behind an unfillable void in my heart, an unforgettable memory, and an immortal legacy. Sleep peacefully, our prince... for you fulfilled your trust, carried the banner, and followed the path to its end. May God have mercy on you, Abu Yaqoub, and unite us with you in His abode of mercy. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

رحل بصمت كما عاش بصمت.. أبو يعقوب محجة، أول ضابط انشق عن النظام السوري، وأخٌ لثلاثة شهداء، حمل السلاح بصدق، والنية بصفاء، والسيرة بنقاء، فلم يطلب ضوءًا، ولا أراد مجدًا، بل مضى على دربٍ يعرف نهايته جيدًا، لكنه اختار أن يكمل.. حتى النهاية. لم يعرفه الناس كثيرًا لأنه لم يحب الأضواء، ولا ظهر على شاشات، ولا تاجر بالدم، لكنه كان هناك.. حاضرًا في كل معركة، في كل تخطيط، في كل نصر. قائد عسكري من طرازٍ نادر، خاض معارك العزّ في الشيخ سعد، وعشترة، والقنيطرة، وبصرى، والتلول..... وأثبت أنه ليس مجرد مقاتل.. بل قائد حقيقي، يحمل فكرًا وخطة، وعينًا لا تخطئ هدفها. وكان آخر محطاته، قيادة غرفة عمليات البنيان المرصوص العسكرية، تلك التي سُجّلت في تاريخ درعا بأحرف من نار ونور. رحل في المواجهة.. في مواجهة الدروز الخارجين عن الدولة، وفي مواجهة المحتلّ اليهودي الذي ظنه ساكنًا فانقضّ عليه، فأثخن بهم قبل أن يرحل. كنا نفطر سويًا صباح اليوم تركته لدقائق، ثم عدت إليه، نظرت في عينيه وقلت له: "لن أتركك". ابتسم كعادته، بهدوء الواثق، ثم ودّعني، دون أن يدري أن تلك كانت آخر مرة. رحل أبو يعقوب.. وترك في القلب فراغًا لا يُملأ، وذكرى لا تُنسى، وسيرةً لا تموت. نم هادئًا يا اميرنا.. فقد أديت الأمانة، وحملت الراية، وسلكت الطريق حتى منتهاه. رحمك الله يا أبا يعقوب، وجمعنا بك في مستقر رحمته. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

Several Syrian Army Commanders Killed in Israeli Airstrike on Convoy in Sweida Several Syrian Arab Army commanders were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a military convoy in the al-Majimar area of the Sweida countryside. Cross-referenced sources confirmed the death of Brigadier General Moammar Ibrahim, commander of the Artillery Regiment of the 40th Division. He hailed from the town of Ghabagheb in the Daraa countryside and was one of the first officers to defect from the former regime's army at the beginning of the Syrian revolution. Khaled al-Zoubi, commander of the "Busra al-Sham Security Zone," Abdul Fattah al-Musaifrah, and a commander known as "Abu Yaqoub Muhajja" were also killed, in addition to a number of other personnel whose identities have not yet been determined. The bombing comes amid escalating Israeli airstrikes on sites in southern Syria.
