Two civilians died in an air or artillery strike on Anadan, according to local sources – though reports are conflicted as to whether Russia or the Syrian regime were to blame.

The Shaam News Network, reported on alleged Russian raids with warplanes and helicopters across Aleppo and its surrounding countryside. They said that this coincided with “violent artillery shelling“, killing two civilians in the Anadan neighborhood.

Halab Today blamed Russia, as did Qasioun and RFS North.

According to an initial tweet Alamawi, regime warplanes carried out the raid – but they went on to say that Russian cluster bombs were to blame.

AlthawraSY said that a number of civilians were wounded by Russian cluster bombs.

LCCSY also said non-combatants had been wounded by a Russian strike, though they didn’t mention fatalities.

Aleppojour pointed towards the regime, reporting that “the Syrian civil defense were fighting a fire caused Assad’s shelling”.

Al Jazeera said that regime artillery killed two non-combatants.
