Two civilians died and eight more were injured airstrikes on Anadan, according to local sources – though reports were conflicted as to whether Russia or the Syrian regime were responsible.
The Shaam News Network reported that “Russian warplanes carried out several air strikes with cluster bombs” on Anadan, killing two civilians and wounding another eight more – some of whom were in critical condition.
However, the Syrian Network for Human Rights – who also put the death toll at two – blamed the regime.
According to LCCSY, “regime warplanes shelled the road to Yaqid Addas”.
Jisr TV, Syrianpc and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also attributed the incident to the regime.
The pro-regime account Syria Watan tweeted that “warplanes targeted an armed group based in Anadan”, but didn’t elaborate.
