Airwars assessment

One civilian male died and 10 or more others were wounded in an airstrike on Aleppo’s Sukkari neighbourhood, according to sources on the ground – though reports were conflicted as to whether this was the work of Russia or the Syrian regime.

Orient blamed Russian warplanes for using both missiles and cluster bombs, while both Smart News and Shahba Press also blamed Russian planes.

However, Al Jazeera pointed to both Russia and the Syrian regime.

Syrian Press Centre was the only source to report that alleged two people killed.

According to LCCSY, “Russian warplanes launched several airstrikes with vacuum missiles on Haritan and Anadan cities in the northern suburbs along with Sukkari neighbourhood, which killed and injured many civilians.”

The local time of the incident is unknown.
