One local source, Mosul Eye, reported that eight civilian detainees of Daesh were killed after the coalition allegedly targeted a Daesh convoy which was transferring the prisoners to court.

Mosul Eye reported: The source explained to Mousliyn, that elements of the organisation brought a group of prisoners by bus for their ‘trial, but international Coalition aircraft bombed the convoy, killing at least eight prisoners.

In the second of their March 2020 civilian casualty reports, the US-led Coalition assessed reports that they were responsible for civilian harm in this strike as “non-credible”, stating that the allegation provided insufficient information on the timing and location of the strike to make a determination.
