Airwars assessment
Two or three civilians died and several more were wounded in an alleged Russian airstrike on Aleppo’s Tareeq al Bab neighbourhood, according to sources on the ground.
LCCSY put the death toll at two, though the Step News Agency and the Syrian Network for Human Rights were among the majority of sources saying that at least three people died.
According to Islammemo, “Syrian activists reported that the dawn raids included most of the besieged neighbourhoods, most of which are located in the eastern part of the city of Aleppo, pointing out that a Russian raid with a concussion missile aimed at the road to Bab al-Bab causing injuries and trapping people under the rubble of the targeted building”.
While there were multiple allegations against Russia, a number of sources didn’t identify the warplane(s) responsible for the attack.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
