Between two and nine civilians died and an unspecified number more were wounded in an airstrike on Babouleen, according to local media. Most sources reported that the warplane struck a civilian car with heavy machine guns. The majority of sources pointed towards the Syrian regime, though Russian actions were also reported, meaning that its involvement can’t be ruled out.
According to Syria News Desk, “two more civilians were killed as a result of regime planes targeting their car with heavy machine guns in the village of Babuleen”.
SMO-SY Syria reported that “Assad and the Russian occupation forces carried out three massacres in the village of Idlib in the town of Jisr al-Shughur, killing seven people and seven more in the town of Marashmarin. In the third event, nine people were killed in Babouleen.”
