Five civilians died, including children, and up to fifteen civilians were wounded in suspected Russian attacks on Al Salheen neighbourhood of Aleppo. Most sources blamed Russia however one suspected the Syrian regime responsible. Missiles and artillery bombardment were reported by sources who did not name a culrpit.

HNN reported 9 – 12 “unidentified” victims following “Russian enemy raids with parachute bombs on Al Salheen”. Arabic.cnn said “jets” hit the neighbourhood – the source did not report civilian casualties.

Almaghribtoday reported five killed including a child, they did not name a culprit however reported the use of an “explosive barrel”. According Umayyapress the Syrian regime were responsible – the source reported, “the military aircraft of the regime forces targeted Al-Salihin neighborhood and the housing of Masaken Hananou and Qazi Askar neighborhood in Aleppo besieged by four high-impact paratroopers, resulting in civilian casualties, while helicopters fired explosive barrels on the Sheikh Najjar and Sakhur highway”.
