As many as ten civilians were killed – and dozens more were wounded – in alleged air and artillery strikes which struck Salheen, Aleppo, according to sources on the ground.
Sources were conflicted as to who was to blame. Many sources blamed both the Syrian regime and Russian warplanes for the raids. However, one local source, which tweeted a graphic image of a girl who was killed, blamed the Syrian regime. LCCSY said that Russia was responsible.
According to most sources, these strikes were a continuation of a series of heavy aerial bombardments of Aleppo that day.
Aawsat News reported that over the course of the day, up to 35 civilians were killed, and hundreds were wounded in Aleppo. Additionally they claimed that warplanes launched more 50 air strikes and 300 artillery and missile shells on Aleppo.
