On December 27, 2016, as many as three civilians, including a child, were killed, and several others were wounded in alleged Russian airstrikes which occured near the Shuaib Mosque, in the densely populated residential neighborhood of Al-Qusour, in the west of the city of Idlib, in northwestern Syria. All sources attributed blame to Russia for these incidents.
Hadi Albahra reported the incident in a post on Twitter/X and indentified the child who was killed as 3-year-old boy, Tim Rajab. Hadi also shared an image of the ruins of a building following the alleged strike.
A Twitter/X account, @M_Alhorane, identified the location of the strike as being near the Shuaib Mosque in Al-Qusour.
Footage shows huge amounts of material damage and a crater in the aftermath of the incident.
