At approximately 12:43 p.m. on June 6, 2026, three paramedics, members of the ambulance crews of the Ansariyeh civil defense center affiliated with the Islamic Health Authority, were injured in an alleged Israeli “double-tap” strike on the town of Ansariyeh in southern Lebanon.
At the time of publishing, Airwars has not been able to identify names of those paramedics who were injured. This will be updated should additional information become available.
Facebook accounts @Civil Defense – The Authority and @Ansariyeh Website shared a video showing the moment the second strike happened. At the beginning of the video, a dog and a paramedic wearing a white helmet and a vest with a symbol of the Islamic Health Association are seen inspecting the ruins of a building and the surrounding area. At 12:43, the sound of a loud explosion is heard, followed by a paramedic trying to enter a vehicle, amidst clouds of dust.
Twitter/X user @Ansariyeh Website shared the footage as well, with the caption: “While the Civil Defense team of the Ansariyeh center was carrying out its rescue duties, the building targeted in the first raid was subjected to a second raid in the town of Ansariyeh, where three paramedics were slightly injured.”
@Civil Defense – The Authority wrote: “A new aggression targeting those who came with humanitarian motives to save lives…”
Al-Araby TV – Lebanon, reporting on the incident, said: “The footage capturing this second strike on Ansariyeh showed that ambulance teams rushed to the scene after the first strike, only to be caught off guard by a second strike that injured members of the teams.”
On Facebook, @Echo of the South reported “two raids on the same location in Ansariyah”, confirming that the location was struck twice. @Eyes of Lebanon platform wrote, “A second airstrike hit Ansariya while a rescue team was carrying out its work, resulting in injuries.”
Lebanese National News Agency also reported along the similar lines: “Ambulance crew members injured in a second Israeli airstrike on the town of Ansariyeh in southern Lebanon.” As the second strike on the same location targeted the ambulance crews, Airwars has graded it as a “double-tap” strike.
@Loubieh Civil Defense wrote on Facebook that “a team from the Al-Lubieh Volunteer Center, affiliated with the Al-Risala Health Ambulance Association” immediately moved to the site of the attack. The paramedics, in cooperation with the Ansariyeh Center, reportedly began a comprehensive field assessment and secured the surrounding area. The center’s firefighting team then worked to extinguish the fire that had broken out as a result of the airstrike. The accompanying video showed four paramedics in green vests inspecting the site of the incident. It was not clear whether this team arrived after the first or second strike.
One image attached to the post by @Echo of the South showed a building that had been partially demolished in the first strike with the visible part of the original name “Californ.” An image shared by Twitter/X user @almodononline showed the full sign, which reads “California Outlet AMF”. Two other images showed clouds of white smoke visible at some distance.
Also on Facebook, @Echo of the Lobe reported: “A second raid targeted the same building in the town of Ansariya and completely destroyed it.” The image attached to the post showed the building reduced to rubble.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military.
