Between eight and 10 civilians were wounded in alleged Russian airstrikes with cluster bombs on Mardikh, Syria, according to sources on the ground.

The Smart News Agency reported: “eight civilians were wounded on Wednesday [April 29th] after an air strike on the town of Mardikh (20 km southeast of Idlib) in the north of the country, the civil defense told SMART.

“The commander of the civil defense team in Sarakib, Laith al-Abdullah, said that cluster bomb attacks targeted the town of Mardikh, where defense workers were working to rescue the wounded and move them to hospitals in the area. Militants said the raids were from the Russian air force.”

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which didn’t identify the “waplanes”,  ten people were wounded.
