Up to 30 civilians died in an airstrike on a camp for displaced people in Sabkha in the eastern Raqqa countryside, according to sources on the ground. The majority of reports blamed Russia for this event.
According to the Step News Agency, “15 civilians were killed in air strikes targeting a displaced people’s camp near the town of Al-Sabkha in the eastern Ar Raqqa countryside”.
Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently reported “the massacre by two Russian planes in the town of Sabkha, which killed 15 people, five of whom were sons of Hassan al-Karmu and five members of the family of Khalil al-Karmu”
Jorfnews was alone in blaming the Saad regime
In unpublished notes from an Amnesty field report shared with Airwars, a witness said that up to 30 civilians were said to have been killed.
