Four civilians were killed, including two women, and others were wounded, following airstrikes – with the use of cluster bombs – on Hawaji Diab. Sources all blamed Russia for the raids on the neighbourhood, except Alghad who blamed the Syrian regime.

Smart News reported that “Militants said Russian warplanes targeted civilian houses on Tuesday night in the village of Hawaij Diab Shamia (15 km west of Deir Ezzor), killing two women and wounding a civilian.”

According to sources, there was some material damage.

According to Alhayat News, the raids also occurred in “Shmitiya”. Alghad also mentioned the bombing of various other towns: “In Deir al-Zour, the military aircraft of the regime carried out a raid on the town of Hawayej Zeyab Shamiya  in the western suburb of Deir al-Zour, causing material damage” – they also blamed the Syrian regime.
