Airwars assessment
As many as eight civilians were reportedly killed, and 13 others were wounded, in airstrikes on Harri. Sources all blamed Russia for the strikes.
Al Hall reported that “Russian warplanes targeted civilian houses in Al-Harri town with more than six raids, killing eight civilians, including women and children, injuring more than 13 others and causing material damage”.
Three of the dead and some of the injured were from one family, according to @syrialive54.
Local media reported that “Airplanes [were] hovering and bombarded the houses… at12 noon.” Allegedly this included the houses of “Hammad Shreda and Hamdoun Hammad Jagadad and Nayeb al-Fares with his brother Sayab and also killed Hardan Al-Henaidi”.
Deirezzor24.net reported that, “More than 6 civilians were killed and several others were injured as a result of the Russian air force launched a series of air raids in the town of Al-Hari near the city of Albuqmal, which is controlled by the Daqash organisation in the eastern countryside of Deir Al-Zour.” The numbers were likely to rise due to the severity of injuries.
