Local sources reported that as many as 23 civilians were killed in airstrikes which struck a river crossing in Soussa. Sources were conflicted as to who was culpable for the strikes, with some blaming Russia and others blaming the Syrian regime.

Ghassan Alhaiawi put the numbers killed as high as 23.

The named victims were from the village of Qouriya, according to local media. Syrian Network for Human Rights confirmed the victims were Internally Displaced Peoples.

A “number of wounded” were reported amongst the ranks of civilians, however it is not made clear how many.

Additionally, Syrian Network for Human Rights – who blamed the Syrian regime – reported that “Syrian regime warplanes fired missiles on the water crossing”.

The local time of the incident is unknown.
