Between five and 11 civilians, including children and one woman, were killed and at least three were seriously injured following alleged Russian airstrikes striking in Kafr Nbooda, Hama, local media reported.

HalabTodayTV, who placed the death toll at eight, said that all eight fatalities were all from the same family, including three children, one woman and four men. This was echoed by a Civil Defense Information Officer in Hama, reported by Smart News Agency.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SN4HR), who reported six fatalities, said that only one child and one woman were among the victims.

The death of one male victim, identified as Mohammed Abdul Latif Asmar, was reported the following day, February 2nd, when he died from the wounds he inflicted on February 1st. In total, four male victims were identified by name, hereof two from the same family.

When describing the attack, SN4HR said that Russian warplanes had fired two missile, while Shaam News Network described the weapons used as “high explosive missiles”.

The local time of the incident is unknown.
