Two civilians were reported killed and others injured when alleged Russian or Syrian regime warplanes targeted KafarNaha village in Aleppo on January 21st, 2020, according to local sources.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “Muhammad Bassout and Ahmad al Abd were killed as fixed wing- warplanes we believe were Russian fired missiles on a textile factory in Kafr Naha village in the western suburbs of Aleppo governorate, on January 21st, 2020.”

@WZ4M93fVY0KeDJb also identified that two people were killed, adding that “several” others were wounded from the vacuum missile attack.

A Facebook post by FSLA.Ovecs identified artillery shelling as occurring at 11:01 in the vicinity of the town of Kafr Naha. Eldorar detailed that the strikes resulted in “great destruction of the infrastructure”.

All of the sources attributed the strikes to Russian forces, with only FSLA.Ovecs mentioning that the regime carried out artillery shelling but it is unclear if that post references this incident since all of the other sources refer to missiles.
